Customer’s intention
Our customer requested the optimization of processes and the subsequent implementation of a production planning management system, with maximum regard to digital automation. The customer has several production plants around Europe that complement each other.
We first performed an analysis of the current state of production. Here we identified possible information flows from various sources (such as suppliers, logistics, purchasing, etc.) Production planning is important for optimizing stocks against the seasonality of a particular type of goods. Therefore, our planning calendar, in addition to orders, also took into account the seasonality of each product.
